Molten Metal Deposition

Molten Metal Deposition is our disruptive metal additive manufacturing technology. Just like the world’s most known plastic 3D printing process (FDM), ValCUN produces parts directly with liquid metal. Our process is developed with a fully automated production chain in mind. It’s the only metal additive manufacturing technology suited for your factory floor without intervention and interruption.

Quick cleaning without disassembly

Laser cleaning usually doesn’t require disassembly, the area stays clean and there is less cleaning needed because of the high degree cleanliness. Because of all this, the production has to be stopped less often and for a shorter period of time. With an in-line laser cleaning installation, you will have no production stop anymore!

ValCUN reduces investment and operating costs by developing a patented technology that uses safe to handle feedstock material instead of metal powders and operates without high-lasers.

Jonas is passionate about mechatronics and technology in general. Professionally, he holds a PhD in electro-mechanical engineering and has work experience as a system engineer, tackling the technical overview of a project.

Jan is an electro-mechanical engineer in heart and soul. Jan holds a PhD in electro-mechanical engineering but enjoys nothing more than making things with his own hands from turning/milling over assembling till testing.

Mohsen likes being challenged, well organized, analytical, punctual, sociable and a team player. He holds a PhD in materials science, and he is skilled in materials characterization, numerical simulation and programming languages (C++, Python and Fortran ).

Chola is a materials research engineer focusing on the metallurgic aspects of additive manufacturing. He works on optimising ValCUN’s metal 3D printing technology for new materials by evaluating the microstructural and mechanical properties.
